I go rock climbing at Rumney with a group that has self named themselves as the "Moonshine Sippers" because someone always brings a jar of moonshine to share.

It get's PACKED on the Esplanade for the 4th of July.  Luckily, I had some friends who set up at 8:30am (in the rain) to get a killer spot on the river for the fireworks.

Giant Man

We found some great climbs at Rumney over the weekend.  Our group stuck to the easier climbs (see me on the right at the top of the pink rope) while other people around us were going big (see the guy hanging from the roof on the left).  I was happy to lead a 5.9 - I took a few lead falls on my way to finishing, but that's what the rope is for.

Night Time Exposure
