Pictures of churches are usually focused on the alter or the exterior, but I found the back of this church to be remarkable. The organ is being restored, thus the decorative pipes are not in place, but the stained glass window is stunning with the other interior details.

West Coast Mountains
I previously posted East Coast mountains - well they weren't quite mountains, more like the foothills. Here are some West Coast Mountains, the Cascade mountain range in Washington, the evergreen state.

Flowers on my Street
These are flowers along my street. I'm not sure what they are, but I do know they close up at night.

Tuesday Track Workout
I've joined "The Most Informal Running Club Ever" here in Boston/Cambridge. They host an informal Tuesday Track Workout at the Harvard Track. Here's a night shot of some of our runners flying by in front of the Harvard Stadium.

Climbing Portrait
Here's one of the few times I'm on the other side of the lens on my camera. As you can see, it's a beautiful day at Quincy Quarries!

Hubway
Boston has a new transportation system, the Hubway. It's a point to point bike rental. Pick up a bike in one place, return it at another. These bike stations are popping up all over the city!

Fall is Here
Fall is here. Here's a view from the top of Mount Morgan in New Hampshire. The trees are starting to turn, give it a few more weeks an this picture would ignite with color!

Camera Setting
Here's the courtyard outside of the Trinity Church in Boston It was a good opportunity to learn about shutter speed. On the left, I used a slow shutter speed blurring the path of the water spraying from the fountain. On the right, I used a faster shutter speed to capture the individual droplets of water. I think I like the blurred water better. I have a little work to do to get the overall brightness to match, but I'm still learning!

Trinity Church Boston
I did some GREAT sightseeing last week with my visiting Aunt - as you will see by the next few posts. One of the places we went was Trinity Church in Copley Square in Boston. The church has a breathtaking interior. Here's my picture of the alter.

On Sundays during the spring/summer/fall a section of Memorial Drive along the Charles River in Cambridge is shut down for recreational purposes - such as picture taking.

Blurry Heart Hands
My cousin Katie came to visit in Boston. I snapped this picture at dinner one evening. I love her blurred pose in the background with the candle-backlit coca-cola.
