Spring Gala... Basically prom for MBA's. In a nutshell - awesome!
We headed down to Newport, RI, home to HUGE mansions on the cliffs of the ocean coast. The weather was awful (rainy, cold, and windy), but the sights were still stunning. I can only imagine what the town looks like on a beautiful day.
The Rosecliff Mansion was rented out for our event. Here's a picture from the 2nd floor looking out over the front garden.
As we entered the masion we were greeted with hor d'oeuvres and champagne. The house was completely open for us to tour. Downstairs there was the entry room complete with grand staircase.
Also on the first floor was the ballroom, where our dance was to be held. 
There were several other sitting rooms on the first floor. The 2nd floor consistent of mostly overly large rooms filled with an usual amount of uncomfortable looking chairs and other furniture.Dinner was delicious. The company was grand. The evening was unforgettable.
